This Opt-Out Policy explains how you may manage certain uses of your personal information when you visit nerdadvisory.com (the “Platform”) or use its proofreading, editing, reviewing, feedback, and learning guidance services. This Policy supplements our Privacy Policy. Privacy rights vary by state and apply only where required by applicable law.
1. Marketing communications
You may opt out of promotional communications at any time:
- Email: Select the unsubscribe link in a promotional email or contact us at [email protected].
- SMS or text messages: Reply STOP when that option is available, follow the instructions in the message, or contact us by email.
- WhatsApp or similar services: Use the available unsubscribe or block function, reply with an opt-out request, or contact us by email.
We will process email marketing opt-outs within ten (10) business days and other requests within the period required by applicable law. Opting out of promotional communications does not prevent us from sending necessary service, payment, security, legal, or support messages related to an existing request.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
You may reject or manage non-essential analytics, preference, advertising, and measurement cookies through our cookie settings tool, where available. You may also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Essential and security cookies cannot always be disabled because they are necessary to operate and protect the Platform. Your cookie choices may need to be set again if you clear your cookies or use another browser or device.
3. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. However, some analytics, advertising, or measurement technologies may involve disclosures that applicable state privacy laws define as a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising.

A signal generally applies only to the browser and device from which it is sent. You may need to enable it separately on each browser or device you use.

- The specific choice you wish to exercise.
Do not send payment card details, passwords, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information. We may request limited information reasonably necessary to locate your records, protect against fraudulent requests, and process your choice. You are not required to create an account to opt out.
Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request for you. We may ask for reasonable evidence of the agent’s authority and may contact you directly to confirm the request.
6. Processing, appeals, and non-discrimination
We will process valid opt-out requests within the period required by applicable law and will not charge a fee or unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. We may retain a limited record of your request as necessary to honor your choice and demonstrate compliance.
If we deny a request, we will explain the reason where required. If applicable law gives you the right to appeal, you may submit an appeal to [email protected] with the subject line Privacy Appeal.
7. Changes and contact information
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal obligations. The Effective Date above will show when the latest version took effect.
